Rajesh Kumar Jha, Senior Psychologist, has twenty-four years of experience working closely with I/NGO/GO on development program management, program design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination. He has extensive knowledge of the socio-economic, cultural, and conflict situation of Nepal and has worked for twenty-two years in programs with a strong psychosocial and mental health component, child protection, alternative care, refugees, torture victims, GBV, migration, and disability issues. His rich experience includes both long and short-term training, workshops, curriculum and manual design, group facilitation, resource mobilization, research, psychosocial counseling, supervision, coaching, and monitoring.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Jha has worked with organizations such as Save the Children, UNICEF, the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (FELM), TEAR Austria, the European Union, IRCT, Tdh, Plan International, The Asia Foundation, and HELVETAS. Additionally, he has closely collaborated with various local-level NGOs, CBOs, and all three tiers of government (Central, Provincial, and Local). He graduated from Tribhuvan University and was awarded the Mahendra Vidya Bhusan by His Majesty, King Birendra, in 1997. He also served as a Lecturer at Tribhuvan University and Tri-Chandra Campus.
Mr. Rajesh Kumar Jha has honed his knowledge and skills through various national and international training sessions, workshops, and seminars. He is a general member of the Centre for Mental Health and Counseling Nepal and a Board Member of the Forum for Protection of People’s Rights. He is currently working as a Project Coordinator at CMC-Nepal.
