Sunoj is an educator by passion, an engineer by degree and a maker at heart. Tinkering with different tools and materials in projects has always been his way of learning. He is interested in a transdisciplinary cross-pollination of ideas and doing experiments on it.
As an engineer turned educator, he has taken a unique approach of integrating making with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Design, and Mathematics) and 21st-century skills (Creativity, Communication, Collaboration and Critical Thinking).
Sunoj has been a tinkerer since he was a kid. He founded a robotics club in his college and later founded the Robotics Association of Nepal in 2011. He then co-founded Karkhana, an education company and a makerspace based in Kathmandu. For him, being a teacher is like being a kid again; curious to learn new things
